our story
Hi,
We’re Molly and Josh from Brighton and we share a passion for supporting those with mental illness and promoting mental well being. Having worked within public services, schools and residential homes for children, we saw too many people suffering unnecessary mental anguish. Suicide sadly continues to be the biggest killer of men between 30 and 50.
We want to make a difference locally and nationally and thought long and hard about how we could. So, we started MYH removals. Physical exertion keeps us mentally well so that’s a good start. Right now, MYH are making a difference by contributing a percentage of all our profits to charities who promote mental well-being and support those who need help, and partnering with those who do great work in the local community.
In the future, we hope to make a practical difference in our local area. We would love to make work accessible to those who’ve been on long term sick leave with mental ill health as well as those in recovery from addiction, and ultimately change the stigma around mental health.
We long to support care leavers. We want to move them in a caring way. How must it feel to be cast out into the world as a teenager with no one to help.
Eventually we would like to employ these care leavers, assigning staff, to mentor them and provide role models to whom they can look up to. We long for these despairing young people to have hope for a future and to not end up homeless or soothing their pain with addiction.
We hope you can see and share our vision.
Thank you for using MYH Removals and supporting our vision.

in 2024, we are supporting Young Minds. They provide young people with tools to look after their mental health. They empower adults to be the best support they can be to the young people in their lives. And they give young people the space to get their voices heard.
